In case of Engineered Wooden Flooring, the top finish layer is pre-finished – i.e. sanded and sealed. So as soon as the floor has been laid, it is ready for use and needs no additional time for it to get permanently fixed. This is in contrast to unfinished solid hardwood, which must be sealed and which requires waiting time before use.
